Motion is Life

Without movement life would not exist. Blood that does not move, cannot transport oxygen. Lungs which do not move, cannot breathe. Hearts which do not pump, can not move blood. Spines which cannot move are unable to create motion for all activities of daily living. In summary, movement is what allows our bodies to operate in all of its magnificent complexities. If one were to compare and contrast physical activity and nutrition versus sedentary and junk food there is no question which avenue would lead to a healthier life.

When a machine is well oiled it purrs with movement. When the body is well supplied with proper nutrition it functions the way it’s supposed to. A diet high in  fibers with fresh fruits and vegetables versus a diet of low fiber and high animal fat is like oil versus sand to a machine. Sand, low fiber, and high animal fat will result in colonic inactivity, constipation, blockage of vessels leading to heart attack or stroke.

Thus, the prevention of disease is based on good nutrition and exercise, which allows good movement or motion to the body; making your structure strong.
